Chartered Institute Of Payroll Professionals
The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) is the Chartered association for payroll and pensions professionals in the UK. It is dedicated to raising the profile of payroll within businesses with approximately 11,500 members.
Its education portfolio has been developed to ensure that is providing the most relevant training in the market.
CIPP are represented at Government consultation forums in relation to legislation which impacts payroll and pensions to ensure that the members have the most up to date information. CIPP also offers compliance health checks in payroll processes and procedures to ensure compliance with legislation to avoid penalties.
CIPP members are governed by a code of conduct ensuring they remain highly professional. They also need to keep up to date on changes and developments affecting payroll.
Highland Payroll Services are associate members and subscribe to the code of conduct.
Federation of Small Businesses
The Federation of Small Businesses is the UK’s largest group promoting and protecting the interests of the self-employed and owners of small firms. It was formed in 1974 and now has around 200,000 members across 33 regions and 188 branches.
The FSB lobby the Government in London, Scotland and EU institutions in Brussels, and put issues affecting FSB members over to the media.
