New Minimum Wage Rates 2021
New minimum wage rates come into force on 1st April 2021
There are also changes to the age bands this year. The highest level of minimum wage starts at 23 rather than 25.
The new rates are:
Age 23 and above £8.91
Age 21 to 22 £8.36
Age 18 to 20 £6.56
Under 18 £4.62
Apprentice £4.30
Whilst the level of increase across the board is around 2% for some aged 23/24 the rate is over 8.5%.
